This is a blog where i will post things relating to the stories that i write (most will be MLP:FIM fanfics) and get YOU, the community, involved in it's development. I will post ideas, ask what kind of things you would like to happen in the story, post polls that will influence the story, and much more.
I just finished typing The Rainboom Files an I'm pleased with how it turned out. I tossed a link in the link section. Let me know what you think and how i could improve it.
BTW, there is a slight twist ending that i felt sad writing.
Hey again. As you already know (or I think I told you so when I was watching you write these Rainboom Files ;) ) I like this prequel a lot. So I'm just going to throw you a little idea I had while reading it. What if the record bits (audio and video) were written from a first person impression point of view, a bit like this (it's the 1954 entry):
A window on the front of the ship. Outside, only the cold dark emptiness of space. The camera spins around the small cockpit, and three ponies in large white suits with glass helmets come into view. Behind them, a door in the back of the cockpit leads to the rest of the ship. "Wow. This is space." Says one of the ponies. "But where is the moon?"
...And so on. I think it would convey an impression of actually "seeing" the record on a video, maybe one could even stress this by writing these sections in italic or such. It's just a thought though ;)
