Quick update.

I won't be able to update the story until monday, i have to go attend to some family stuff in another state and will be unable to get to a computer. I will attempt to write in a notebook when i have free time so that i won't be abandoning this fic.

Good news everyone!

I haven't been updating much lately (i am disappointed at myself, i wanted to have chapter 2 done a lond time ago) but that is mainly due to never having a good amount of time to write. I have come up with a way to properly manage my time so that i can get at least one or two pages done per day (except weekends and mondays).

Expect to see chapter 2 done by at least next monday and at most next friday. If it is not done by then feel free to... i dunno... metaphorically punch me in the face.

Is this how time normally passes?

It feels like every hour of every day I try to utilize is being stolen. I finally managed to get started on a full day of writing and want to give a link to the WIP chapter 2 (might get chapter 3 started today). As I post this Chapter 2 is already one page complete (i personally expected more to be done by now) and will be complete before i go to bed tonight, whenever that may be. So feel free to jump in and spectate the writing, or wait until tomorrow to read the final version (before massive edits and corrections) or late tomorrow when it is 100% complete.

Ever need to do something but never have the time?

I have but I finally found time. Chapter 1 is officially done. If you ever find yourself writing and need to add three or so pages, add a death scene in the form of a flashback. That took a while to write (3 full days total) but was worth it. Now I'm off to do chapter 2, expect it by the end of today or tomorrow.

Hey, i kinda lied.

So chapter 2 IS underway but it was still a thought during the last post. So far I have already made outlines for the next 4 chapters and I am about to start chapter 2.
Side note: If you have read chapter 1 (new) recently you have probably noticed a really weird spot before the group gets on the ship, that part is still being worked on right now so don't get confused about it.
Anyway... time to write.

Chapter 2 getting started

I have finally found time to start chapter 2 =) I'm probably going to post the link to the WIP document later tomorrow. Chapter 1 is still being refined but I think it is as good as done. Quick list of the things I plan on changing in chapter 1 and a question about chapter 2 after the break.

So...

I have not even started on chapter 2 yet =( I have been swamped with all my internet responsibilities and my real life. Fortunately I will start having a lot of free time during which i cannot access the internet. I will be able to write chapters during that time and get to the internet so I can transfer it onto a google doc.
About the LOTR pony project, we have been making some progress on it but there are currently only 2 of us working on it frequently enough. Soon the other person (Captain Equestria of KYM) will be moving to a place with little internet leaving me to work on the project alone (for the most part) so if anyone can offer their help that would be awesome.

I'm not going to be working on Space ponies as often as I thought. I have become involved in a project to ponify the Lord of the Rings movie script (because to do the book would require far to many characters) but if any of you are interested in helping i have set up a ponychan thread where you can help.

I will still be working on Space Ponies but do not expect a completed chapter 2 for at least a week (or this project might die and i can get back to Space Ponies)

IT IS COMPLETE!

I just finished it. It is (hopefully) going to get reviewed by some /fic/ reviewers soon. I hope to find enough time to complete chapter 2 rewrite in 3-4 days (at the most). Thank you if you have been patiently waiting this entire time. If you would post your thoughts in some comments here that would be awesome because the thoughts of the audience (all of y'all) help me write better chapters and, in the end, a better fic.

Chapter 1 rewrite almost done, give me like an hour or two.

I have been unable to find a lot of time this week to do any writing (planed on having chapter 1 and 2 done by now) but i almost have chapter 1 done and hope to have chapter 2 done in a few days. Just thought i would post this for anyone wondering what's taking so long.
